PR Account Manager (full or part-time)

Brief Overview

Established within the last decade, this is a PR Account Manager role with a small, but successful communications and marketing.  Their base is within PR, but they’ve expanded their offering to provide clients with exceptional digital and wider marketing activity.

They’re also really well-known for their flexibility and this role could be filled by someone on full time or part-time hours, by someone who was in the office every day or on a hybrid basis.  If you’re the right person, they’ll make the other bits and pieces work.

The role:

The client base for the agency sits squarely within professional services, and they’re really proud of their long-standing client relationships. On a day-to-day basis you could be involved with anything from traditional media campaigns to those focussing on digital PR and providing long body copy for websites with strong SEO.

You could be writing case studies or thought leadership articles and you could be working with national, regional, and naturally trade press. Anything which might boost the profile and reputation of their clients.  You’ll obviously have an input in the social media side of things, as well.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone with great account handling skills, lots of initiative, a creative spark who is always looking for opportunities to help your clients prosper, and you certainly won’t mind getting your sleeves rolled up!  Aside from your B2B PR experience, you’ll also have a wide understanding of marketing.

This opportunity will most likely suit a creative and innovative PR practitioner with solid agency experience when you have worked across a mix of accounts with a b2b feel.  Solid knowledge of the PR and content space is important and a strong sense of what works across social channels.

It’s essential you’ll have a keen eye for a story and talent for writing compelling copy across a range of formats from press releases through to long copy and social channels.  Ideally, you’ll also have a good grasp of the digital landscape and be able to work collaboratively with their in-house design, social and content teams.

What’s on offer?

For the right person, there really is flexibility within this role.  They’re open to full time or part time, and core hours can be amended to suit.  Salary is up to £35,000 (pro rate if part time) and there’s also the opportunity to assist with driving the growth of the agency which could lead to equity involvement.

They’re currently based in Sutton Coldfield, but a move towards the city centre may be on the cards within the next couple of years.
