Senior Marketing Executive  

Brief Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive who loves content writing but has a really broad marketing background to join this global manufacturer. The role will sit within a small marketing team focussing on the UK market and will be mainly b2b focussed but with some opportunities to work on consumer marketing.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, as Senior Marketing Executive you will act as their deputy, undertaking marketing campaigns for the benefit of the company. You’ll also organise creative campaigns and promotional events with the aim of reaching out to the market and cultivating customer interest in their products and services and strengthening the reputation of the business to facilitate growth and development in the UK market.

You’ll develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and will plan, manage and oversee marketing campaigns and promotions which will cover both digital, print and events, and will work with stakeholders across the business to do this. You’ll work with the sales and technical team to develop and promote key case studies and will design, craft and develop content and design briefs, as well as being the content lead on all campaigns and activities. In addition to this, you’ll assist with the supervision of more junior team members and will also manage relationships with key agencies and suppliers in developing marketing campaign activities and assets.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with a marketing degree or similar, or who has a CIM level 6 Diploma in Marketing, who has gained at least 4 years’ experience within a broad marketing environment. As mentioned previously, you’ll love the content element of marketing and will be keen to take the lead on this aspect within the team, but you’ll have experience from a 360 marketing role. You’ll likely have gained experience from a b2b environment already and be keen to progress your career within this sector.

You’ll be keen to take on mentoring duties and you’ll also need to be quite ambitious as the aim of this role is to promote to Manager level and take on more responsibility.  This won’t happen overnight, but it is a very realistic aim.

The role is a fully office based role – there will be occasions when you’ll need to work from home, but this isn’t on a regular basis.  There’s an early finish on a Friday to look forward to and a really nice working environment.
