They boast an enviable client list of accounts which have been with them for many years as well as an extremely low staff turnover.
Working very closely with owners, you will be working with their key clients which cover architecture, healthcare, high-end property market, through to leisure, and professional services. Campaigns are both local and national, and whilst the focus is mainly PR and Content, you will be exposed to other elements of the marketing mix.
Writing will be at the heart of everything you do. It’s an imperative part of the role and will range from creating eye-catching social content, writing a well-crafted release, or longer web-based copy that can connect brands to their audiences. The intriguing element is that there is true accountability and longevity in the role and it will suit someone who is happy to take the bull by the horns and is able to stand on their own two feet.
You will also be working with clients that have been with them for over a decade, so you’ll need finely honed client relationship skills as well. This is most definitely a key appointment within the company, where you will provide PR and content focused guidance to 4 or 5 of their main clients, which are mainly in the healthcare and property sectors. The role will involve developing PR strategies and solutions for the brands, handling a wide range of projects, ensuring that quantifiable and meaningful results are achieved for clients, and playing a central role in new business development.
What we’re looking for
First off, you’ll have great account handling skills, lots of initiative, a creative spark, and always looking for opportunities to help your clients prosper, and you won’t mind getting your sleeves rolled up. Apart from your B2B PR expertise, it is beneficial to have wider experience of marketing and a good grasp of the digital landscape.
In essence, we’re looking for an experienced PR practitioner to be the lead on an interesting and varied portfolio of B2B accounts, comprising a mix of retained PR clients and ad hoc projects. It’s unlikely that you’ll have less than five years’ experience and may be in a large agency setting but seeking more of a say in a mid-sized setting.
