Account Manager

Brief Overview

Each of us is the creator of our own story and these dudes are taking their time to create the right culture and ethos, and without question, they’re getting there. These guys are doers, thinkers, and savvy marketers who decided to go their own way around three years ago and since then, they’ve grown steadily, attracting a raft of B2b and B2C brands. It’s now come to a point where they need a new drummer to join the band, to keep it rockin’ so to speak.

They aren’t huge so you won’t get lost in the noise but there’s still ample room to grow and develop, and in fairness, the best time to join somewhere is when they’ve done the groundwork, sorted the infrastructure, and are on the up.

The role

In this Account Manager role, you will work on their key clients that have links to the home interiors, built environment, retail and property-based sectors and you will take responsibility for handling their TTL requirements, online and offline. The clients are a mix of business-to-business and consumer, and cover different sectors, as do their requirements – typical projects include all forms of advertising, brand, design, print, outdoor, social and websites etc. So, plenty to keep you developing and learning.

No matter how busy things get, there are some savvy and experienced people around you, to give you that helping hand, when necessary, and do this willingly, not as a chore. They’re more than happy to give you their time as they want you to learn and develop. You’ll work very closely with a wonderful Senior AD, who you’ll learn heaps from, to formulate campaign strategies and then oversee the status of each campaign, start to finish.

You will also be working closely with creative and digital teams to ensure a seamless transition of briefs into the creative domain, and they are as clear and inspirational as possible. Needless to say, you will want to run with things, do your best and will get a kick from working on an array of very interesting projects.

What we’re looking for

In essence, you will be a dab hand at overseeing the development of briefs on all creative projects, and capable of working very closely with creative, PR and digital teams. You will have an eye for creativity as well as being able to keep an eye on the costs and timescales of each project and for these reasons, it is necessary to have a sound understanding across all marketing disciplines which must have been gained as an Account Manager in an agency environment.

You’ll need to be confident and at ease with a varied portfolio of clients within different sectors across B2B and B2C, offering them professional, effective and proactive advice, at all times. Above all else, you will be experienced in delivering projects across multiple channels from advertising and print to online, as well as being able to work closely with client services and other teams to ensure a seamless transition of briefs.

Exposure to clients in the home interiors or sectors would be an advantage but, of equal importance is being at your best within a growing agency which still has a great close-knit feel about it.

What’s on offer?

A salary of between £28,000 and £34,000 as they may consider a Senior Account Executive moving up or an existing Account Manager.  Above all else, you’ll be joining a great team and a hybrid working environment, which is underpinned by an extremely low staff turnover.
