Brief Overview

You’ll be joining an agency which has grown organically and sensibly over the past few years, and their client includes some big names in the drink, food & automotive sectors.  They’re brave, astute & get people talking & change what people do.

They have a superb creative approach to storytelling & it centres on their belief that it is people and not channels that have the power to impact on the success of a brand.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Consumer, you will find solutions that are new and meaningful, and this means being driven to learn new things and sharing them.  The work they do is interesting, varied, stretching and challenging.  It engages hearts and our minds, and you’ll share that enthusiasm, energy and insight that their clients have for their brands and their audiences.

You will ensure brands stay relevant to their audience & take pride in the knowledge that every piece of work that leaves is the best it can be, from the smallest email to the biggest pitch.   In a continually changing world of communications, you will work with agility, listen, consider and adapt, identifying and converting new opportunities quickly and efficiently.

The team has inquisitive minds and are receptive to changes happening in media, digital & social, and share a constant drive to be the experts in their field, constantly learning so that they can create solutions that deliver on clients’ objectives.  Every team member has a development plan that expands their skill set and challenges their mind.

They have a collective understanding of why the little things matter & work to continuously improve ways of working to deliver incremental improvements in overall outputs.  They do this by bringing their best self to work and applying a disciplined mindset & strive to be as good as their word.   The key to this role is creating and executing work high quality, engaging and has the intended audience in mind; and that importantly delivers on what’s been briefed and what clients want.

What we’re looking for

A few years consumer focused PR & social experience under your belt, ideally gained in an agency & someone who is incredibly personable and are professionally curious – always on the look-out for new, exciting ways to engage audiences.

You’re tenacious, skilled at managing upwards and effective in getting a job done – when it comes to projects, the agency and/or your own learning and development. You take pride in your work and you work hard to get things right, the first time.  You will also be able to develop solid working relationships with clients and extend network of contacts within each client, manage expectations & drive fresh, exciting and new ways of thinking about your accounts (in partnership with strategy team).

It’s also aimed at someone that’s happy in mid-sized agency where people strive to consistently produce work of the highest quality & you will enjoy inspiring others to work with you and enjoy bringing people along on the ride.

Whatever you do, you’ll take great pride in doing it right without the need to cut corners.
